Palworld Setup

Create a Palworld server.

Use this when you are starting a new Palworld server from the VialStack setup screen.

Before you start

What to pick

Palworld is available in the VialStack game setup screen as Palworld. If you are not sure which plan to choose, start with Palworld Standard for most active friend groups. Palworld Starter is best for smaller private worlds, and Palworld Heavy is for larger or busier communities.

Steps

  1. Sign in at billing.vialstack.com.
  2. Open Servers, then choose Create Server.
  3. On the game selection screen, choose Palworld.
  4. Pick the plan that fits your group, then continue through the setup form.
  5. Set a server name. You can also set or change the player join password, admin password, and max players during setup. The player join password is optional, so you can leave it blank if you want an open server.
  6. Create the server and allow the first install to finish. The first startup can take several minutes while Palworld downloads and generates files.

After it is created

You can manage the server from the VialStack game panel. The server password is the optional password players use to join. The admin password is only for admin commands, not normal player access. For server name, password, player limit, admin password, and other Palworld options, use the settings guide below.

If Create Server does not finish

Check the setup pop-up for a red validation message. The player join password is optional, so leaving it blank is okay. If you do use a password, keep it under 30 characters. If it still does not create the server, open a support ticket and include which Palworld plan you picked.

If Palworld is not showing

Refresh the create server page and try the game search again. If it still does not appear, open a support ticket and we will check the catalog for your account.
