Upload a Valheim world
Valheim worlds use matching .db and .fwl files. Both files must be uploaded together for the world to load correctly.
Common files or settings
worlds_local/*.dbworlds_local/*.fwladminlist.txtpermittedlist.txtbannedlist.txt
Stop the server
Fully stop the server before replacing world files.
Upload both files
Upload both the .db and .fwl file with the same world name into the world save folder.
Set the world name
Make sure the panel startup world name matches the uploaded file name without the extension.
Quick checks
- Back up before changing saves or major settings.
- Restart after saving config changes.
- If it fails, read the first error in the latest log.
