Configure a Terraria server

Terraria servers commonly use serverconfig.txt for world, password, max players, MOTD, and port settings.

Open serverconfig.txt

Use the file manager to open serverconfig.txt.

Change basic values

Edit world path, password, max players, MOTD, and difficulty-related options supported by your server build.

Restart and join

Save, restart, and join to confirm the world and password are correct.

Back up before changing saves or major settings.
Restart after saving config changes.
If it fails, read the first error in the latest log.
