Upload a Satisfactory save

Satisfactory dedicated servers use save files and an in-game server manager for claiming and configuring sessions.

Common files or settings

  • FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/server/

Claim the server

Use the in-game Server Manager to claim the server if it is new.

Stop and upload save

Stop the server and upload the .sav file to the server save directory.

Load and verify

Start the server, select the session/save if required, and confirm players can join.

Quick checks

  • Back up before changing saves or major settings.
  • Restart after saving config changes.
  • If it fails, read the first error in the latest log.
