Enshrouded Setup
Create an Enshrouded server.
Use this when you are starting a new Enshrouded dedicated server from the VialStack setup screen.
Before you start
What to pick
Enshrouded is available in the VialStack Create Server screen as Enshrouded. For most active co-op groups, start with Enshrouded Standard. Use Starter for smaller private worlds or first tests, and Heavy if you want more room for a busier world.
Enshrouded dedicated servers use the official Steam dedicated server build. The first install or a large update can take a little time, so let the install finish before trying to join.
Steps
- Sign in at billing.vialstack.com.
- Open Servers, then choose Create Server.
- Search for Enshrouded and pick Starter, Standard, or Heavy.
- Enter a server name players will recognize in the Enshrouded server list.
- Set a server password if you want the world to be private.
- Leave the query port at the default unless VialStack support asks you to change it.
- Create the server and let the first install finish before starting gameplay.
Plan notes
- Enshrouded Starter: 8GB RAM and 50GB disk for smaller co-op worlds or testing.
- Enshrouded Standard: 12GB RAM and 75GB disk, the best default for most groups.
- Enshrouded Heavy: 16GB RAM and 100GB disk for larger or heavier worlds.
If it does not show up
Refresh the Create Server page and search for Enshrouded again. If it still does not appear, open a support ticket and we will check your account and the product catalog.
